Don’t survive to be happy later – Be happy to survive now.
Remember that life isn’t guaranteed, and that each moment is precious. Every second of every day is a bonus round, so slow down and enjoy something so so so beautiful.
You are alive, and this will not always be the case. This should be enough to put a glow on your face. Reflect upon the past, but let it be peaceful. Move forward with a smile big enough to change the world, and the world will change.
Be thankful for anything and everything, because in this moment… you are alive, thinking, breathing, and aware.
It’s up to you how you use your superpowers.
Break the rules but first break the rulers.
At any given point in your life, you have stumbled upon this page for a reason. Whatever that reason is, hold it close. There is something deep down that you truly believe in.
My mission is very straight forward: To make an impact on this world that will positively and infectiously change the lives of everyone around me, at any given time. I believe that happiness can be achieved with the mind, and I believe that everyone should not only experience, but live their lives through happiness.
Whatever it is that excites you, reach out and touch it. It’s yours if you want it. The happiness that you can very well wrap your heart around is right in front of you, you just have to open your mind to the reality that life doesn’t have to be miserable, repetitive, structured and dissatisfying. Life isn’t about attaining everything you desire, it’s about following your excitement and passion, and helping others discover themselves along the way. What makes you feel good? What truly lights that spark in the back of your mind that you are so embarrassed, uncomfortable, and shy about? That is your happy place- and it is real.
You can have it all.
The Artrepreneur Now podcast is here to discover and share the in’s and out’s of people who are living through happiness. There is beauty in every drop of creativity, experience, and thinking, and I am here to help exploit this and show you that everything you love and dream about is possible. Creating the life you love is the reason you were born. As a child, you believed in this- and you still do- it’s just that you got sidetracked.
As we grow up, we get tangled in this misconception that life isn’t about happiness, it’s about survival. We have to do everything we can to survive, then worry about being happy later. Then, we look back on life from an old age and realize that all of that survival is meaningless because we were never happy. It feels so empty. At that very moment, would you still feel happy that you survived? If today was your last day, would you feel satisfied with the life you lived?
What is the point of survival if it doesn’t involve happiness? The normal every day perception of life is backward.
The truth is, once you start looking for happiness as a way to survive, that’s when you will discover peace & content. This is the very purpose of life. Don’t survive to be happy later, be happy to survive now.
Your future cannot be predicted, but it can surely be created & invented. There is always an excuse to not make a change, but not making a change is the only reason you need an excuse in the first place. Excuses are arbitrary.
See in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.
The Artsy Now Foundation
I believe that as children, we fall in love with what truly makes us happy- we just grow out of it because of external influences pushing us to focus on survival, not happiness. I am creating this cause to reassure children that they absolutely can take their passions and create a life out of them.
This is the kickstart to Lindsay (my girlfriend) & I launching The Artsy Now Foundation, which will allow us to raise funds to help children discover their true passions through creativity and music. These funds will provide all the resources necessary to connect children with creative superstars all around the globe and show them the wide array of creativity in this world. It will teach them the fundamentals of building a career through creativity. They deserve to know that a living can be made through passion, not just the corporate cubical world.
This is what truly makes me happy, and this is what I was born to do.
At the end of the weekend or event they will receive an amazing handmade scrapbook which documents all the memories, as well as a new friendship with Lindsay & I and all of the creative discoveries along the way.
I plan on using the Artrepreneur Now network as an anchor for this cause, and I am so honored to be able to share all of this with you.
